Heating Mantles, 3 and 6 Position with Internal Controller
Overview
These 3 and 6 position WiseTherm heating mantles offer excellent performance and price advantages over the traditional brands. The mantles are housed in an aluminum case and have individual integrated analog temperature controllers. Maximum temperature is 450ºC. They are designed to accommodate spherical flasks of sizes 250/300, 500 or 1000mL or flat based flasks of size 250/300 and are suitable for DURAN, Kimax, Pyrex and Iwaki brand flasks.
Each heating mantle unit is supplied with glass supporting rod and clamp. They are ideal for repetitive extraction, reflux, distillation and other common laboratory applications.
Features of the 3 and 6 Position Heating Mantles:
Individual built-in solid state analog electronic controls enable easy regulation of heater
Support rods are included (13 mm diameter)
Maximum temperature up to 450 ºC
Polypropylene top cover with external powder coated aluminum surface for good chemical resistance
Nickel chrome heating elements provide maximum heat transfer
Earth (ground) screen encloses the heater for added safety
Individual heater cartridges are replaceable
Pilot light shows power on
Vented case’s unique air flow ensures the case remains cool to the touch
